1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing VakilDost, creating an account, submitting a legal question, purchasing a Draft Pass or generating a draft, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant feature.

Clicking an acceptance box, completing an online transaction or continuing to use the service after being shown these Terms may constitute electronic acceptance.

2. Platform operator

VakilDost is an India-focused legal-information and AI drafting platform operated by Advocate Rajat Kaushik. References to “VakilDost”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of vakildost.in.

3. Types of services

A feature must not be treated as advocate-reviewed merely because the platform is operated by an advocate. The label displayed for the particular service controls.

4. No automatic advocate-client relationship

Browsing the website, using AI guidance, creating an account, making a payment or generating an AI draft does not by itself create an advocate-client relationship. Such a relationship arises only through a separate, express engagement accepted by the advocate, with an agreed scope of work.

Information submitted to an automated feature should not be assumed to attract advocate-client privilege or professional confidentiality merely because it concerns a legal matter.

5. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract.
• You must provide accurate account and transaction information.
• You are responsible for the security of your Google account, device and browser session.
• You must not share, sell or transfer Draft Passes or accounts without written permission.
• You must promptly notify VakilDost if you suspect unauthorised account use.

6. Your facts, documents and instructions

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of all facts, names, dates, amounts, addresses and instructions submitted to VakilDost.

• Submit only information you are legally entitled to use.
• Do not impersonate another person or fabricate evidence.
• Do not submit passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs, full card details or unnecessary sensitive data.
• Do not omit a material fact with the intention of producing a misleading output.

You grant VakilDost and its service providers a limited right to process submitted content solely to provide, secure and support the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable-use rules

You must not use VakilDost to:

• commit, assist, conceal or encourage an unlawful act;
• harass, threaten, defame, extort or deceive another person;
• create forged, fraudulent or intentionally misleading legal documents;
• submit spam, automated bulk requests or attempts to bypass quotas or security controls;
• probe, reverse-engineer, scrape or disrupt the website, backend, database or authentication systems;
• upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access;
• resell generated outputs as VakilDost services without permission; or
• use the service in a manner that infringes another person’s privacy, confidentiality or intellectual-property rights.

8. Free AI quotas

Free AI guidance may be subject to daily, account-based, device-based, IP-based or other reasonable usage limits. Quotas may reset automatically and may be changed to control cost, prevent abuse and keep the service available.

Free access has no cash value, is not transferable and does not guarantee a particular number of responses during outages, maintenance or suspected abuse.

9. Draft Pass terms

• A Draft Pass is a limited entitlement to generate the number of AI drafts shown at purchase.
• A pass is linked to the purchasing account and is ordinarily non-transferable.
• A pass is consumed only when the system records a successful draft generation.
• A generation reservation may temporarily hold a pass while a request is processed.
• Duplicate, abusive or technically manipulated requests may be rejected.
• A Draft Pass does not include advocate review, unlimited revisions, court filing or representation unless expressly stated.

10. Payments

Payments are processed through Razorpay or another displayed payment provider. Prices, taxes and the included entitlement will be shown before payment.

• You authorise the payment provider to process the selected transaction.
• VakilDost does not receive your UPI PIN, banking password, OTP or full card credentials.
• An amount shown as debited is not by itself proof that VakilDost received a successful payment confirmation.
• Access may be withheld until the transaction is verified by the payment provider and VakilDost’s systems.

11. Refunds, duplicate charges and failed generation

A. Successful digital delivery

Because a Draft Pass is a digital entitlement and an AI draft is generated on demand, payments are generally non-refundable once the entitlement has been used for a successful generation, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

B. Failed generation

Where the system confirms that generation failed, the pass should ordinarily not be consumed. VakilDost may restore the pass instead of issuing a monetary refund.

C. Duplicate or incorrect charge

A verified duplicate charge, payment captured without delivery of the purchased entitlement, or other confirmed processing error may qualify for reversal, refund or account credit after verification.

D. How to request review

Email help@vakildost.in with the account email, approximate payment time, amount, Razorpay order/payment reference and a description of the issue. Do not send OTPs, UPI PINs or full card details.

Nothing in this section excludes non-waivable rights available to a consumer under applicable law.

12. AI limitations

AI systems can misunderstand facts, invent authorities, omit exceptions or provide outdated and inconsistent content. An output may not account for local rules, procedural requirements, limitation periods, recent judgments or facts not entered by the user.

VakilDost does not guarantee that any AI output is complete, accurate, legally sufficient, fit for filing or suitable for a particular case.

13. Mandatory review before reliance or filing

Before using a generated answer or draft, you must independently verify:

• party names, addresses, dates, amounts and factual statements;
• statutory provisions, case citations and limitation periods;
• court or authority jurisdiction, format, court fee and filing procedure;
• all blanks, placeholders, annexures and referenced documents; and
• whether advice from a qualified advocate is required.

Do not ignore a court date, limitation deadline, police notice, tax deadline or other urgent legal obligation while waiting for an AI response.

14. Intellectual property

The VakilDost name, branding, website design, software, original explanatory content and resource structure belong to VakilDost or their respective licensors and may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission.

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use a generated output for your own lawful personal or professional purpose. VakilDost does not guarantee that an AI-generated output is unique or free from similarity to other outputs.

15. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the VakilDost Privacy Policy. By using account, AI or payment features, you acknowledge the processing described there, including processing by relevant authentication, hosting, database, payment and AI service providers.

16. Third-party services and links

VakilDost relies on third-party services such as Google, Supabase, OpenAI, Render, Razorpay, Hostinger and WordPress. Their availability and processing are governed by their own terms and policies. VakilDost is not responsible for an external website or government portal merely because it is linked from the platform.

17. Availability, maintenance and feature changes

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. VakilDost may maintain, modify, replace or discontinue a feature; change quotas or pricing prospectively; or temporarily restrict access for security, legal or operational reasons.

Reasonable efforts will be made to protect already-paid entitlements, but uninterrupted access and permanent storage of drafts are not guaranteed. Users should download or securely copy important outputs.

18. Suspension or termination

VakilDost may restrict or terminate access where there is suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security risk, payment manipulation, material breach of these Terms or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, reasonable steps may be provided to clarify or appeal the restriction.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VakilDost will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on AI output, missed deadlines, user-supplied inaccuracies, third-party outages, unauthorised account access or use of a draft without appropriate review.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, VakilDost’s aggregate liability relating to a paid digital feature will ordinarily be limited to the amount paid for the specific affected transaction, without limiting any non-waivable statutory consumer right or liability that cannot legally be restricted.

20. Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims or expenses arising from your unlawful use of VakilDost, fabricated information, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve a complaint in good faith by email.

Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other statutory jurisdiction, courts having territorial jurisdiction over Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.

22. Changes to these Terms

VakilDost may update these Terms to reflect new features, providers, pricing, security measures or legal requirements. The current version will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may be highlighted where reasonable.

Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future use. A material change will not retrospectively remove a completed statutory right or alter a completed purchase unfairly.
